Quinn Akeby Gagos (she/her) is a 27 year-old artist based in Modesto, California creating both performing and visual arts.
Quinn Akeby started her dance training at the age of 3 and continued her studies in ballet, jazz, and tap through high school. She was honored to dance under contract with Central West Ballet for their 2014/15 Season.
In college she transitioned her focus to post-modern dance which continues to be her primary form. She graduated in 2019 from The George Washington University (GWU) with a Minor in Dance accompanying her BA in Psychology and a second Minor in Art History. While at GWU, she focused on choreography, improvisation, and site-specific performance.
Quinn Akeby views everyday life through the lens of art which she believes has led to continued exploration of many different art forms--most notably photography and chalk pastel.
